If you aren’t a fan of the Rose Gold trend, you’re going to be disappointed because it’s here to stay – at least for the rest of 2016.
Apple released their Rose Gold MacBook on Tuesday, and it’s promising an extra hour of battery life along with a marginally better processor and 8 GB of RAM. If you’re planning on using this for something other than basic web surfing and cat video watching, it’s still a pretty useless piece of tech for almost $1600 CAD. If you want a light laptop but don’t need a huge amount of computing power, opt for the 13-inch MacBook Air. It’s slightly older than the new MacBooks so the RAM is only 4GB and internal storage between 128 GB and 256 GB, but it does have a faster processor at 1.6 GHz. The MacBook Air is also significantly less, starting at $1099 CAD for the 128 GB option.
New MacBook Pro
1.1 GHz dual-core M3 processor with 256 GB internal flash storage – $1549 CAD ($1299 USD)
1.2 GHz dual-core M5 processor with 512 GB internal flash storage – $1899 CAD ($1599 USD)
Samsung Galaxy S7
If you didn’t already love the new Samsung Galazy S7 & S7 Edge here’s another reason: Pink Gold!
Ain’t it a beaut? On Wednesday, Samsung unfortunately announced this fifth colour in the S7 lineup would only available in South Korea for now (#sad), but fingers crossed we’ll be able to purchase it in the North American markets soon!
