Review: Meago Car Charger Adapter

People who know me well know that they’ll probably find me doing 1 of 2 things at any given time: driving or checking my phone. With the amount of things I do with my life (work and volunteering with 3 different community organizations), it means that I more often than not find myself in my car with a nearly dead phone. If I’m driving long distance, I usually have to choose between my GPS and having a full battery when I get to my destination (mind you, this is when I know I’ll be driving for more than an hour. Ain’t nobody trying to be using that much data). I’ve had car chargers before and even purchased an adapter a couple years ago that had the option to plug in two car adapters at the same time, but it wasn’t great and because of where my cup holder was, every time I went to take a sip of my drink, something would end up coming loose and that’s just not something you need to worry about while driving.

Enter the Meago Car Charger Adapter. Honestly, I have no idea why I didn’t think of this before. Instead of having to purchase 2 separate adapters and a splitter, Meago has added 2 USB ports into one car charger adapter; simple but brilliant.

I used it for just over a week and I’ll definitely be handing off my other adapters to my mom because Meago is staying with me! It has a really sleek design, plus the entire front of the adapter lights up when it’s plugged in. I can’t tell you how many times I had plugged in my phone in the past, just assuming that the adapter was plugged in because I couldn’t see the light, only to arrive at my destination with my battery even lower than when I left.

The Bottom Line

Even if you’re not someone who sometimes finds themselves driving for 3 or more hours every day like me, the Meago Car Charger Adapter is still great for anyone who carpools, (because you won’t have to fight over who gets to charger their phone this time) or even if you just like to keep your battery topped before you arrive at your next destination.
