When it comes to getting exposure for you brand online, there’s no doubt that Instagram is the top way to get your brand or product out in front of potential customers with little-to-no advertising spend. With the exponential growth Instagram has seen in just the last 3 years, it’s not that much of a surprise that built-in analytics into the Instagram app itself has taken some time to develop. Or, if you’re lucky enough to have an employer or client that already understand the value of social media (you’ve already acheived a great hurdle), then you just want to know how to spend your time the most effectively.
After the release of the immensely popular game last week, I, like many other Canadian Pokémon fans were a little disappointed when it wasn’t officially released in the Canadian App & Play Stores. There were workarounds for both Android and iOS users, but there was speculation that downloading the unreleased version affected long-term battery performance, and resulted in some users being banned from the Play Store for up to a year.
Unless you’ve been living under a Geodude (that would be a rock-type Pokémon), us 90s kids have been blessed by the retro gods with some of our favourite things making a comeback in the last week. As a 24-year-old blerd, my level of excitement can barely be contained over the news of these 2 incredible things making comebacks.
And I’m not mad about it. I’m more of a TV junkie than a movie junkie any day of the week, so to see so many of my favourite shows nominated is super exciting! And yes, I’ll be the one to bring this up: big ups to the Emmys for actually featuring a diverse selection of not only white & black actors, but Indian and Egyptian actors as well. Could there be more? Sure, but TV is where everything’s at right now so any recognition for all the hard work and amazing talent that goes into a show is phenomenal.
